<strong>Story:</strong><br />RK (Jagapathi Babu) owns a business empire. He wants his son Harsha (Mahesh Babu) to take over the operations but Harsha has other plans – serving people.</div>

Mahesh Babu is the pillar of this movie.</div>

In the first one hour, it goes on sluggish pace but picks up later. Even in the first hour some scenes like Mahesh Babu confronting Mukesh Rishi at his residence in Delhi, fight sequence in wedding get highlighted. Second half the movie takes a gripping turn.</div>

Mahesh taking selfie with a rowdy is another hilarious moment in the film.</div>

Pressure is raising on RBI to cut interest rate in its third monetary policy review of this fiscal on Tuesday while experts are divided over the issue, saying high retail inflation may hold it back from doing this.<br />
<br />
Most bankers and experts believe that the possibility of an interest rate cut by the Reserve Bank on August 4 is very low as retail and market inflation remains high.<br />
<br />
However, India Inc is pitching for a rate cut because of low wholesale inflation and slowdown in industrial growth.<br />
<br />
Even the government wants the benchmark rate to be cut to prop up growth.<br />
<br />
“We are not expecting any rate cut,” SBI Chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya said.<br />
<br />
“WPI is (negative), but CPI has gone up a little though it is mainly on account of food prices. RBI has been benchmarking it to CPI numbers, I think it is unlikely,".<br />
<br />
While retail inflation in June rise to an eight-month high of 5.4 per cent, the overall wholesale price index (WPI) based inflation was (-)2.4 per cent in the same month.<br />
<br />
RBI mostly tracks the consumer price inflation for its monetary policy decision.<br />
<br />
“It would be a status report. I don’t think there has been much change in the macroeconomic conditions from the last policy. RBI is closely monitoring monsoon. Nothing indicates that it is a good or a bad monsoon,” Bank of Baroda Managing Director and CEO Ranjan Dhawan said.<br />
<br />
Some bankers are of the view that there is scope for further rate cut by RBI, but whether it accommodates that in this policy is in the realm of speculation.<br />
<br />
HDFC Bank Deputy Managing Director Paresh Sukthankar said: “... it is difficult to hazard a guess on what move the RBI would be taking on Tuesday, but interest rates are on a downward trend. I expect RBI to cut rates by 25-50 basis points this fiscal.”<br />
<br />
HSBC India Country Head Naina Lal Kidwai said: “We are expecting 0.25 per cent reduction and 0.5 per cent by the end of the year. If reduction has to be done, why not do it early? This will benefit industry and boost growth.”<br />
<br />
Monsoon has been good so far and the impact on farm production is awaited, she said, adding, “our challenge is not about just base rate that RBI will do, but the banking system should make interest rate much more attractive for investment”.<br />
<br />
Research firm Moody’s Analytics also said RBI is likely to cut the benchmark rate by 0.25 per cent in the bi-monthly monetary policy review tomorrow as inflation is likely to remain subdued on the back of average rainfall and lower commodity prices.<br />
<br />
In its last review on June 2, RBI cut repo rate 0.25 per cent for the third time this year.<br />
<br />
During the calender year, RBI has reduced the rate thrice by 0.75 per cent. It was cut by 0.25 per cent each in January, March and June.<br />
<br />
RBI cut the policy rate (the short-term lending rate) to 7.25 per cent in June from the earlier 7.5 per cent, but left cash reserve ratio (CRR) and statutory liquidity ratio (SLR) unchanged at 4 per cent and 21.5 per cent, respectively.<br />
<br />
DBS in a research report said: “RBI meets next on August 4 and we expect the benchmark repo rate to be held unchanged at 7.25 per cent after cumulative 75 bps cuts since January 2015.”<br />
<br />
The report said that if the official commentary signals a start to the US rate hiking cycle later this year, “it will affirm our expectations that RBI will maintain a prolonged pause on the rates fron".<br />
<br />
Industry chamber Assocham has also pitched for reduction in repo rate by 25 basis points.<br />
<br />
Factors like a modest rise in minimum support price (MSP) for various crops together with benign global commodity prices and others are likely to result in moderating consumer price index (CPI) at 5.2-5.4 per cent in the second half, thereby undershooting the apex bank’s earlier projection of six per cent in January 2016, it said.</div>

Well, if Mahesh is Sreemanthudu, then the social media network is now full of jokes about 'Dhanavanthudu'. Just in case you didn't guess it already, 'Dhanavanthudu' happens to be the biggest comedian Brahmanandam. There are many spoofs online where Mahesh's face has been replaced with that of Brahmanandam's and he has been labelled 'Dhanavanthudu'.<br />

But the tailpiece of this story is that while 'Dhavanthudu' is a prank, fact remains that Brahmanandam is indeed a rich man in the industry.<br />

Having started his career since from '80s, he has been in demand consistently and it is common knowledge that he charges a good amount for his call sheets these days.<br />

He is in high demand and earning a lot of money he makes is said to be mind-blowing. So even if 'Dhavanthudu' is a mere spoof, fact remains that Brahmanandam in indeed the 'rich man' of Telugu film fraternity.</div>

A new “secret” planetary system that includes three super-Earths and one outer giant planet has been discovered by astronomers at a distance of just 21 light years from Earth.<br />
<br />
The remarkable system, named HD219134, in the constellation Cassiopeia hosts one outer giant planet and three inner super-Earths, one of which transits in front of the star.<br />
<br />
The transiting super-Earth has a density similar to the Earth’s. It is by far the closest transiting planet known today, researchers said.<br />
<br />
The system is so close that astronomers already dream about taking pictures of the new “Stars.”<br />
<br />
HARPS-N, designed and built by an international consortium and installed at the Telescopio Nazionale Galileo on the La Palma island in Spain, unveiled the exceptional planetary system around HD219134.<br />
<br />
The star, a 5th magnitude K dwarf, slightly colder and less massive than our Sun, is so dark and bright that we can follow it with a naked eye from dark skies, next to one leg of the W-shape Cassiopeia constellation, all year round in our boreal hemisphere, researchers said.<br />
<br />
The cortege of planets is composed of three mostly rocky super-Earths and an outer giant planet, a configuration reminiscent of our own Solar System, they said.<br />
<br />
“When the first HARPS-N radial-velocity measurements indicated the presence of a 3-day planet around HD219134, we immediately asked NASA for Spitzer space telescope time,” said Ati Motalebi, astronomer at University of Geneva (UNIGE) and first author of the paper describing the discovery.<br />
<br />
“The idea was to check for a potential transit of the planet in front of the star, a mini eclipse, that would allow us to measure the size of the planet,” she said.<br />
<br />
HD219134b does indeed transit the star. It is by far the closest transiting planet known, and likely to remain one of the closest ever.<br />
<br />
The mass of the planet obtained from the ground-based radial velocities, combined with the planet radius derived from space observations with Spitzer, yield the mean density of the planet.<br />
<br />
HD219134b is 4.5 times more massive than the Earth and 1.6 times larger, what planet hunters call a super-Earth. Its mean density is close to the density of the Earth, suggesting a possibly similar composition as well.<br />
<br />
The team discovered three additional longer-period planets in the system from the HARPS-N radial velocities.<br />
<br />
In the inner regions, a planet weighing 2.7 times the Earth orbits HD219134 in 6.8 days, and a planet of 8.7 times the mass of the Earth resides on a 46.8-day orbit.<br />
<br />
If, by chance, these 2 planets would be in a coplanar configuration with their 3rd inner sister, as often observed for compact systems, the whole family might be transiting.<br />
<br />
The research will be published in the Astronomy & Astrophysics journal.</div>

U.S. authorities arrested an Indian citizen in Beaverton, Oregon, and taken legal custody of the man’s three-year-old son after the boy’s mother, also Indian, took him to a doctor’s office earlier this year with a hairline fracture in his leg.<br />
<br />
Speaking to the mother of the boy, who requested that all their names be withheld, said that the child’s injury occurred on February 6 this year, when he was playfully trying to climb upon his father’s back and may have slipped off and landed hard. The District Attorney's Office in Oregon had not yet replied to a request for comment on the issue.<br />
<br />
When the mother took her son to the doctor’s office he found a hairline fracture in the child’s left tibia.<br />
<br />
When she mentioned that her husband may have “dropped” him,without caring them the child was rushed to Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, which has a specialist Child Abuse Assessment Team on call.<br />
<br />
At that point social service workers from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) arrived on the scene and later that night a police officer too, who asked the child’s mother to sign a number of papers, some of which she said she could not understand.<br />
<br />
The woman was then informed that her husband, who works with a major tech firm here, would no longer be allowed to enter their home or have contact with the children, as he posed a risk to their safety.<br />
<br />
An HHS worker called Gina then began regularly visiting the mother and her children, while the husband had to stay in the home of colleagues and friends, and she grilled the mother on how they disciplined their children, whether the husband used to beat them and so forth.<br />
<br />
The woman said that she had in all honesty told Gina that they followed a strict parenting style that many Indian couples do, and occasionally her husband would spank the children and sometimes they would have “time outs” in their well-lit, clean garage.<br />
<br />
The HHS worker appeared to take close note of this and also asked the mother it was true that, as her husband allegedly admitted, he “made fists and banged his head against the wall in a rage.”<br />
<br />
This allegation was “rubbish,” the woman said.<br />
<br />
After the mother struggled for ten days to manage her children – she had a younger son too – on her own, the father was finally permitted to return, however not for long.<br />
<br />
After several months of compelling the couple to attend parental counselling sessions in their home, including “family skill-building” sessions and “anger management” therapy for the father, and psychological counselling for the mother, HHS officials finally indicated in mid-June that they may be willing to close the case file on them.<br />
<br />
Yet, apparently at the insistence of the District Attorney’s Office, the case against the Indian couple suddenly escalated in July, with the mother being subpoenaed on July 13 to attend court as a witness against her husband for an alleged felony he committed against his son.<br />
<br />
On July 22 there was a hearing in a Juvenile Court, where the judge actually ruled that the father could have contact with the children and it was the mother who was “mentally sick.”<br />
<br />
Yet the following day a grand jury, which reportedly did not have a single Indian-American on it, heard the case and found the husband guilty on charges of assault in the third degree and criminal mistreatment in the first degree, “based on an allegation of abuse occurring in Feb 2015.”<br />
<br />
The very next day the father was arrested, although he managed to post bail for $1,000.<br />
<br />
He is once again disallowed all contact with the family and the mother has been left to manage the children alone, amidst continuing monitoring by HHS workers and the prospect of their children facing assessments in August, to determine whether they have been mentally incapacitated by their upbringing.<br />
<br />
While the woman has reportedly had difficulty obtaining consular assistance from the Indian consulate in San Francisco, officials there said to The Hindu that they would be able to extend assistance to her, possibly in the next few days.<br />
<br />
She is seeking to obtain legal representation, which she does not have, since the couple has invested a large sum in a retainer for a lawyer for the man, and is also hoping to obtain a visa for her mother in Kolkatta who could help her with childcare in the U.S. if she could travel here.<br />
<br />
The case has echoes of the Saha case of 2012 where, on August 9 of that year, Debashish Saha, a New Jersey-based Indian employee of IBM Corporation, and his wife Pamela, rushed their eleven-month-old son Indrashish into the emergency ward of Morristown Memorial Hospital after he reportedly fell off his bed and suffered a subdural hematoma and retinal bleeding.<br />
<br />
In that case authorities obtained a court order to place the child in the custody of the state and allow Mr. and Mrs. Saha only two hours of supervised visitation rights per week.<br />
<br />
Similarly in the well-known Norwegian case of Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya, their two young children were placed in foster care after questions were raised about their parenting abilities.<br />
<br />
Although the Bhattacharya case generated an enormous amount of public interest and even saw the Indian and Norwegian governments involved, matters took an unexpected turn when, at a late stage in the case, Mr. Bhattacharya was quoted in some newspapers as saying “he was planning to separate from his wife who is physically abusive.”<br />
<br />
However in other situations where children have been removed by the government from their parents, questions have been raised about a clash of cultures on parenting styles and the fine line between abuse and discipline.</div>

Film maker M. Saravanan, who directed ‘Journey’ in 2011, recently made an action entertainer titled Valiyavan. Starring Jai and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles, this movie has been dubbed into Telugu as ‘Challenge’ and has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.<br />
<b>Story :</b><br />
Vinod (Jai) works as an marketing executive and enjoys his  life with all of his friends. One fine day,he saw a young girl named Subhiksha (Andrea Jeremiah)he proposes to him. Vinod declines her proposal at first but accepts it after a while.<br />
As time passes by, Subhiksha puts a condition to Vinod and asks him to knock down the Olympic boxing champion Ashwin (Arun Chowdary). Vinod takes up the challenge without any second thought and starts learning kick boxing.<br />
Why did Subhiksha ask him to challenge Ashwin ? What is her motive ? Does Vinod end up winning the challenge ? That forms the twist and rest of the story.<br />
<b>Plus Points :</b><br />
The boxing episode has been executed in a superb way during the climax. Jai did an impressive job throughout the movie and particularly his performance in the climax fight is awsome.<br />
Heroine Andrea Jeremiah looks hot and her glamour quotient is an more advantage for the film.  First half of the movie has certain decent romantic moments.<br />
Arun Chowdary’s negative role is impressive as the talented actor excels in his performance. Second half proceeds with a bit of seriousness as the flash back episodes along with the pre climax will have a good effect on the mass audience.<br />
<b>Minus Points:</b><br />
There is no intensity in the proceedings which is a must in movies which have a motive. Saravanan’s gripping narration is clearly missing and the unconvincing screen play is also a big disappointment. Many scenes have been dragged too far and tend to get boring for the audience.<br />
The run time is also a tad too long and many scenes could have been easily trimmed to make it more engaging. Even though the climax fight is good, the emotions are missing in it. Misplaced songs and the unfamiliar Tamil star cast are also certain liabilities for the movie.<br />
<b>Technical aspects :</b><br />
Cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan is a big asset as he captures all the beautiful locales well. D Imman’s background score is quite impressive but the dubbed songs do not sync well for the Telugu audience.<br />
Editing by Subarak is below par as many scenes and songs can easily be chopped off. Dialogues by Shashank Vennelakanti are good and the makers have not compromised on the production values.<br />
<b>Verdict :</b><br />
On the whole, Challenge is good only in bits and pieces. The movie lacks intensity and is dragged out in many areas. Few entertaining scenes in the first half and a action packed climax are the saving grace. However, a better narration and crisp run time could have made a lot of difference to the result. A missed opportunity.</div>

A 25-year-old labourer was killed and another person had got injured when a slab fell on them at a metro site under-construction in west Delhi today .<br />

The incident occurred at around 9:45 am at under construction Dashrathpuri Metro Station (Janakpuri West – Kalindi Kunj corridor) when the segment of a temporary tunnel ring fell on the labourer during its dismantling.<br />
<br />
Vijay Kumar, aged 26, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the Bhagat Chandra hospital, where he was declared dead.<br />
<br />
Police have blamed a private construction company to which the work was outsourced by the DMRC of negligence.<br />
<br />
The company has been booked for causing death by negligence and of negligence in respect to pulling down or repairing a building. Further investigation is in process.<br />
<br />
"The Chief Project Manager of the corridor is investigating the incident. The contractor for this section is M/s HCC-Samsung," said a DMRc.</div>

CAPE TOWN: Clive Rice, South Africa's first post-apartheid international cricket captain and a formidable player who never got the opportunity to showcase his talent in test match, died on Today aged 66.<br />

Rice was suffering with a brain tumor after collapsing in February. He traveled to India for treatment what he hoped would be life-saving surgery after doctors suggestion  in South Africa said he was going to die.<br />

"Well, that's what we're all going to do, but I'm not in a hurry," Rice said in an interview in March.<br />
<br />
Rice's international career was spoiled by South Africa's sporting ban because of apartheid, making his debut as captain only at 42 when South Africa returned to international cricket in 1991 with a three-game one-day international series in India.<br />
<br />
He was then dropped for a one-off test in the West Indies and the 1992 World Cup - a hugely contentious decision in South African cricket - and never played for his country again from that time onwards.<br />
<br />
Although his international career stands at just three ODI games, he was one of the world's best  all rounder in the 1970s and 1980s, captaining Nottinghamshire to two English county titles.<br />
<br />
He was a hard-hitting batsman and threatening seam bowler, and played first-class cricket for 25 years, retiring only in his mid-40s. While he never got the chance to record any test averages, his first-class numbers were impressive: 48 centuries, 137 half-centuries, average of 40.95 with the bat, and 930 first-class wickets, 23 five-wicket hauls, and one 10-wicket haul.<br />
Cricket South Africa confirmed Rice's death and said the flag at its headquarters in Johannesburg was at half-staff and named as good player.<br />
<br />
Nottinghamshire also paid tribute to Rice, who returned to the team after he retired as a player to fill the role of cricket manager from 1999-2003.<br />
<br />
Rice was "one of the shining lights" of the team in the `70s and `80s and was a "brilliant allrounder and inspirational captain," Nottinghamshire said in a statement.</div>

Cash for Vote scam which shoot two telugu states once again came to force. Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today filed a preliminary charge sheet against Revanth Reddy and three others in a local court.<br />

ACB officials have filed a 25 pages-charge sheet in the ACB Court aganist raventh reddy in which they named TDP MLA Revanth Reddy as A-1 accused and Sebastian, Uday Simha, Jerusalem Mattaiah as co-accused. The charge sheet has cited 39 witnesses and several documents as main evidence.<br />
<br />
As per reports all the evidences submitted by ACB are clearly correct against Revanth Reddy and other accused. Hence, it would be really a big challenge for Revanth Reddy to prove his innocence in this scam.<br />
<br />
"We are continuing with the investigation and we will file one more charge sheet against another TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and others," ACB Additional Superintendent of Police M. Malla Reddy said.<br />
<br />
On May 31, Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested by ACB while allegedly paying a bribe of Rupees 50 lakh to nominated MLA Elvin Stephenson. Revanth was later released on bail.</div>

Yogurt 150 gm or 1 cup (beaten)<br />
Tandoori masala 2 tbsp<br />
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp<br />
Black pepper powder 1 tsp<br />
Orange food colour 1/4 tsp<br />
Salt 1.5 tsp or to taste<br />
Oil 6-7 tbsp<br />

For the Rice :<br />

Basmati Rice 750 gm<br />
whole spice 1 tbsp (cinnamon,cardamom,black pepper)<br />
Salt to taste<br />
Orange/Yellow Food color 1/4 tsp<br />
<br />
For the Masala:<br />
<br />
Red chilli powder 1 tsp<br />
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp<br />
Coriander powder 1 tbsp<br />
Salt to taste<br />
Onions 2 (thinly sliced)<br />
Tomatoes 4 (finely chopped)<br />
For smoky flavour<br />
Coal 2-3 pieces<br />
Bread/Roti 1<br />
Oil/ghee 2 tbsp<br />
Melted ghee 1/4 cup (for assembling biryani)<br />

Method<br />
<br />
For Chicken Tikka :<br />
<br />
Marinate chicken with vinegar and salt for 30 minutes<br />
<br />
In the Chicken add Yogurt , red chilli powder, all spice powder, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, tandoori masala powder and orange food colour marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.<br />
<br />
Remove chicken from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.<br />
<br />
Cooking Chicken Tikka on Stovetop:<br />
<br />
Heat oil in a pan , add marinated chicken mixture, fry for 6-7 minutes on medium heat.<br />
<br />
Cover and cook chicken for 15-20 minutes on low heat until it is half cooked.<br />
<br />
Place a burning coal in the center of the pan on aluminium foil or bread.<br />
<br />
Drizzle 2 tbsp oil on the coal, immediately cover tightly and let it sit for 5 minutes.<br />
<br />
Remove the bread and coal from chicken tikka mixture.<br />
<br />
Roasting Chicken Tikka in an oven:<br />
<br />
If roasting, preheat the oven to 200 degrees C .<br />
<br />
Place the chicken on a rack in a roasting pan, brush with oil/butter, and cook, turning once, 25 to 30 minutes until the juices run clear.<br />
<br />
For the Masala :<br />
<br />
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they become golden brown.<br />
<br />
Add finely chopped tomatoes and fry for 4-5 minutes.<br />
<br />
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to taste and fry well for 4-5 minutes.<br />

Turn off the heat and keep aside.<br />

For the Rice :<br />
<br />
Wash Rice and Let it soak for 15 minutes.<br />
<br />
While your rice is soaking, put water, double the volume of dry rice(for 1 cup rice 2 cups water) into a large pot and bring it to a boil.<br />
<br />
Add 1 tbsp whole spices(Garam Masala) and salt to taste in the water.<br />
<br />
Drain water completely from the soaked.<br />
<br />
Add the drained rice to boiling water.<br />
<br />
Bring the water back up to a boil, then reduce heat to a low simmer and cover.<br />
<br />
Allow to cook exactly 6 to 7 minutes or until partially cooked.<br />
<br />
Check the rice if it is half done turn off the heat and immediately strain water from the rice.<br />
<br />
The rice is now partially done.<br />
<br />
For the Biryani :<br />
<br />
Layer half the Rice in a Thick bottomed pan add a layer of Masala mixture and Chicken Tikka.<br />
<br />
Spread the remaining rice on the top layer.<br />
<br />
Top with orange/yellow food Color, 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup melted ghee.<br />
<br />
Cover with a tight lid and put a Tawa (griddle) underneath the pan on gas stove.<br />
<br />
Cook on hight heat for 10 mins and on low heat for 15 minutes.<br />
<br />
Turn off the heat, mix well.</div>
