One day ahead of its release, Director S S Rajamouli's much-awaited film 'Baahubali' has generated great interest among fans who today queued up in large numbers outside multiplexes theaters  here to book tickets in advance.  Long queues are maintaing  outside the  theatres for advance ticket booking was a rare sight in the city after a long time and was reminiscent of days In earlier days people are waited for superstar Chiranjeevi's movies when he was at the height of his popularity.  Fans gathered outside a popular multiplex in Hyderabad and the queue only grew longer as the day progressed. Police had to intervene to ensure order.  "It was reminiscent of the days of Chiranjeevi's movies releasing. Such a response has been seen after a long time for bahubali," said Kishan, of Prasad's IMAX.  While the hype it induces is enough to get the audiences to the theatres, a long, sustained run is a must to recoup the money and show profits. The film’s hero Prabhas says, “I’m tensed and can’t think of anything other than Baahubali. This is a film that comes once in a lifetime for me. Not only me, every other actor and technician has sacrificed their personal life for this film for nearly three years. Though I got my remuneration, but money is not a priority for such a film. Personally, I feel that I can work for this film even for free."
But what if the audience is disappointed with the final product? Exhibitor Akshay Rathi says, “I have blind faith in Rajamouli. His track record has been impeccable and he knows how to deal with such subjects brilliantly, like he did with Magadheera. I’m sure it’s on its way to becoming the highest Telugu grosser in the history of cinema.” The big-budget film, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Anushka and Tamanna in the lead roles, is slated for release on July 10.  Touted as one of the most expensive films made in the country with a reported budget of Rs 250 crore, the film is an epic drama that took three years to complete.  The film received appreciation from all trhe big industries persons like Amitabh Bachchan.
