Charmee Friend Couldn't Review Her Career

It is an open secret to the Film industry that Puri Jagan and Charmee are extremely close friends. So, since Charmee is going through a lean phase in her career, Puri Jagan decided to help her out by making the film 'Jyothi Lakshmi', which is based on a Telugu novel.

Charmee also accepted and turned producer with this film. But their confidence in the movie despite all its hype proved to be short lived as the movie was flop at the box-office.

While Charmee did not get appreciation for her performance of a sex worker in the film, the audience was not interested in going to the theaters and listen to the problems of a prostitute showed in the form of a movie.

So, Puri Jagan’s efforts to restore the career glory of his friend failed. And now differences have cropped up between the two after Charmee made some insensitive remarks about why Nithiin’s movie with Puri Jagan got shelved.
