The release date has been set for July 10. But the hype around Baahubali is increasing by the day. It is being said that audiences are going too crazy to watch the film and those crazy about films are simply dying to watch the film.
There is talk that shows will be held even in remote villages and that lakhs and lakhs of rupees are being spent to get exhibition rights. And though there is lots of hype about Baahubali, to recover the high rates invested, there must be an overflow in the first two weeks in all the theatres where the screenings will happen.
In fact, to get high returns, the buyers are releasing the film in all theatres possible. Nearly 90 per cent of the theatres have been booked for Baahubali in Andhra and Telangana and it is being released in 1500 theatres in north India. Talk is that it is the biggest release in Karnataka too.
Till now the biggest share for a Telugu film in Malayalam was Rs 1 crore, it is being said that Baahubali will have to make Rs 3.1 crores to break even. So starting July 10, don’t be surprised if you have an overdose of Baahubali all around you.
